About Us

Wabii Maccaa Association (WMA) is a non-profit organization registered as 501 (c) (3) under the laws of the state of Minnesota with a mission focus on humanitarian assistance, advocacy, and development. WMA was founded by concerned Oromo diaspora on February 15, 2020, in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA. WMA is a self-help and membership-based association born out of the growing concerns mainly related to the humanitarian crisis and worsening life situations of rural and urban residents in Wallaggaa.

While WMA members are committed to safeguarding the unity of the Oromo people and Oromia, they advocate for the Oromo in Wallaggaa and other parts of Oromia who are victims of the prejudice and systematic isolationist policies of the successive Ethiopian regimes.
